Reliability beyond third-party capabilities

With more than 40 years of experience, extensive testing ensures reliable Hypertherm quality.

  • HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing)
    Vibration test 0 to 60 G Vibration -70°C to 100°C (at 60°/minute)
  • Power Supply, Torch and consumable stress tests
    Conduct a stress test five times the expected life of the equipment. Stress Condition: Under high voltage input conditions (test 400V equipment at 575V conditions), increase the output current by 20% to conduct an RF Noise test at a temperature of 50°C.
  • Power Supply Impact Test
    Roll it 100 times. Drop 100 times at 15cm height on the concrete floor. Drop it on the concrete floor at a height of 1m.
  • Dust and Humidity Test
    Test under conditions in which 0.5 kg of metal powder is drawn into the equipment through the cooling fan for more than 20 hours with the arc occurring. Leave the equipment in a place with a humidity of 95 percent for 96 hours.
  • Power Supply
    IP waterproof test & insulation breakdown test, CE/LVD safety test, handle load test 10 times the weight of the equipment
  • Torch Testing
    IP waterproof test & insulation breakdown test, CE/LVD safety test, handle load test 10 times the weight of the equipment
  • Inspection is carried out in a separate laboratory for each manufacturing assembly process.
  • Hi-pot Test – high voltage/low amperage Part Confirmation
  • These tests are conducted in each process to ensure the highest durability and stability.
